Flat topped clusters of fragrant creamy white flowers bloom in late spring and are followed by abundant blue black drupes in summer that persist in winter. Flowers best in loamy, moist well drained soils. Drought tolerant once established. Viburnum dentatum also acts as a host for the Spring Azure butterfly.
