i Cacciagalli, Zagreo, 2021 Chardonnay This Barbera comes from threeThis is a concentrated and complex wine. Extended skin maceration has lent an aromatic spice to the wine, layered over an umami core. Perfumed tea and dried camomile lift the wine, keeping it light on its feet and the finish is long and stony. This wine is grown in the foothills of the extinct Roccamonfina volcano at altitudes of 200m and we see the echo of these rich volcanic soils in the wine.
