It is unbleached cotton in a natural color, and comes in strips that can be split lengthwise. For spun cotton, this roving is best suited to projects with few angles, like the limbs of figurines, and cylindrical objects like carrots, icicles, etc. The directional grain of the wrapping is often visible, and the texture is slightly slippery and fabric like after
