I was struck by this abandoned pier to nowhere, which is located on an otherwise pristine beach. The photograph is part of a project called Out of Place that I am working on in the south of France. I think all of my work photos, paintings, and drawings address the same issue of transformation in the face of global trends." Julie Graham
