Similar blades were found in Smihel (Slovenia), Osuna (Spain) and in Mouis (France). The hilt has been modelled after several sculptures. The gladius is 83 cm long, with a blade of 65 cm in length and 6 cm in width. The hilt is constructed from wood. The sword weighs 1. 1 kg and comes with a wooden scabbard, covered with black leather and decorated with brass ornaments.
